As a minor getting you licence and get a job is the highlight of your 16th birthday but finding a job is harder than it used to be, because of the Fair Labor Standards Act. It puts restrictions on a lot of working places for you. You should look into what exactly your rights are and when they are being crossed by a employer. If you don't know these laws then your employer might feel as if they can take advantage of you and make you work more hours than there supposed to be.
